VV27: two new steps completed for MicroCarb and CO3D
The countdown has begun for VV27. CO3D and MicroCarb, the Vega-C launcher’s two passengers, are completing their ground preparation with crucial technical operations.
Preparations for the VV27 mission are in full swing at Europe’s Spaceport. The MicroCarb satellite, designed to measure atmospheric carbon dioxide, has been filled with propellant by the technical teams, an operation carried out under strict safety conditions.
Meanwhile, the four satellites of the CO3D constellation – designed to map the Earth in 3D – have been installed on their adapters, allowing for the launch of multiple satellites on board the Vega-C launcher.
