Opening of the public consultation period for the future multi-launcher complex
The public consultation period regarding construction of the first multi-launcher complex (ELM1) at Europe’s spaceport is open until 18 March 2025 inclusive.
On Monday 17 February, a public consultation period opened in response to the request for environmental authorisation and a building permit for the first multi-launcher complex (ELM1) on the grounds of Europe’s spaceport.
The future multi-launcher complex is designed to accommodate micro- and mini-launchers with payload capacities of up to 1.5 tonnes. It includes launch zones, common structures (Nodal building, guardhouse, offices, storage areas, etc.) and more specific structures (assembly and preparation buildings, roads, fencing, etc.).
Mr Daniel Cucheval, the investigating commissioner, will hold four public consultation sessions at KOUROU Town Hall, 30 Avenue des Roches – 97310 KOUROU, on the following days and times:
- Monday 17 February 2025 from 9 am to 12 pm,
- Monday 24 February 2025 from 9 am to 12 pm,
- Monday 10 March 2025 from 9 am to 12 pm,
- Tuesday 18 March 2025 from 9 am to 12 pm.
