Ariane 6: main core and boosters at the launch pad
Another major milestone has been reached in the preparation schedule for the first Ariane 6 commercial flight: the transfer of the main core and boosters to the launch pad.
The main core of the second Ariane 6 was transferred from the Launcher Assembly Building (BAL) to the launch pad, where it was set vertically before being joined by its boosters.
The upper part of the launch vehicle, composed of the fairing and payload, will subsequently complete the rocket with a view to its launch, currently scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, from mid-February.
This will be the first launch of the year from Europe's Spaceport.
