On 26 March, during his presidential visit to French Guiana, the French President toured the launch vehicle assembly building, where the main core to be used for the inaugural flight of Ariane 6—currently scheduled to take place between mid-June and late July 2024—was on display.
The President was accompanied by Toni Tolker-Nielsen, Director of Space Transportation at the European Space Agency, Philippe Baptiste, CEO of the French Space Agency, Martin Sion, CEO of ArianeGroup, Stéphane Israël, CEO of Arianespace, and the Mayor of Kourou, François Ringuet.

A tembé painting by local artist Antoine Dinguiou was gifted to the President by the entire space community, symbolising Space and Success.
