Ariane 6: lift-off scheduled for 26 February
The first launch of the year is the Ariane 6 VA263 mission, which will lift off from Europe's Spaceport on 26 February.

It's official. The second Ariane 6 will lift off from Europe's Spaceport on 26 February at 13:24 (Kourou), 17:24 (Paris), carrying the CSO-3 military defence satellite.
This mission, known as VA263, will be the first commercial flight of Ariane 6, Europe’s new heavy-lift launch vehicle.

In French Guiana
You can watch the launch from the Carapa observation site at the entrance to Kourou, 14 km from the launch pad. This site is accessible without the need to book, subject to availability (up to 1,450 people). It will open two hours before lift-off. There are no age restrictions.
The lift-off will also be visible from the beaches of Kourou (Cocoteraie, Pim Poum, etc.).
Bookings for this launch are not yet available. They will open around two weeks before the scheduled date, on our dedicated website. Watch this space.
