You are a journalist ...
…and you would like to run a story about Europe’s Spaceport or attend a launch?
How to get to Europe’s Spaceport
To access Europe’s Spaceport, you need to apply for accreditation.
Once approved, you will receive a “press” badge authorising you to access Europe’s Spaceport accompanied by a staff member from the communications department.
You must send us the accreditation form by email to contact-csg@cnes.fr at least 3 weeks before you are due to arrive.
Supporting documents to be provided:
- letter of assignment or press card
- proof of identity
You will be notified once your accreditation has been approved. Once you have received notification, you can then collect your badge from the reception building for professional visitors located at the entrance to Europe’s Spaceport.
You must wear your badge at all times during your visit to the Spaceport.
Attend a launch
You will watch the launch from the press centre located in the Jupiter 2 building.
This building also houses the control centre, so you will have a close-up view of the operators, behind the scenes of the launch.
You will find an open-plan newsroom and individual booths with a view of the control centre. You can watch the lift-off live from an outdoor terrace.
