The former Space Museum has been transformed into a unique and immersive experience. 

 

You will discover the history of the Europe’s spaceport and space in French Guiana, the activities and success story of the European space industry, and what goes on behind the scenes at a launch base.

Practical Information

Immersive! This is the key word of Guyaspace Expérience, which offers an active stroll, thanks to various devices : multimedia supports, interactive screens, models of launchers and satellites, objects to handle, audio and video accounts, etc.

 

 

You will be guided through areas dedicated to different themes:

 

- Go back in time through the history of the CSG and space in French Guiana

- Experience all the stages of a launch like a real operational person

- Learn what the satellites that are launched into space are used for

- Discover how biodiversity is preserved at CSG!

 

 

Guyaspace Expérience is fully bilingual in French and English.

Opening hours and days:

 

  • Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm
  • Open the 1st Sunday of the month, from 9am to 6pm (closed on Monday of the same week)
  • Closed on public holidays

The temporary exhibition

 

 

The Jungle Bunch arrives at Guyaspace Experience

 

Come and enjoy a thrilling adventure with children's favourite characters: the Jungle Bunch.


Immerse yourself in the world of the famous animated film in the Guyaspace Experience exhibition space.
With puzzles to solve, interactive games and spectacular scenery, young visitors become real explorers. Observation, logic, team spirit... everything you need to learn while having fun!
A great opportunity to enjoy some quality family time, while sparking your little ones' curiosity about the world around them and raising their awareness of the threats to the environment.

 

Aimed at 6-12 year olds, this fun exhibition takes children into the heart of a colourful jungle for a thrilling mission: to find Miguel the gorilla, the missing friend of Maurice the tiger penguin and his gang. 
Armed with their investigation booklet, young visitors must connect five mission stations and answer various questions about the tropical rainforest, interactions between species, threats to the ecosystem, and more. They will then be able to collect the five numbers that will allow them to find the secret code that will open Miguel's cage.

 

‘The Jungle Bunch, the Exhibition’ was designed and produced by the Toulouse Natural History Museum and TAT Productions, the French animation studio behind the famous series The Jungle Bunch.
